Ingredients
Main ingredients
Method
Wash and cut the fruit
Rinse strawberries under running water before hulling, then weigh 300 g. Peel the banana, weigh 120 g and cut it into 2–3 cm pieces.
Fill the blender
Add almond milk, yogurt and vanilla first. Follow with strawberries, banana, the 7 g of honey and ice. Secure the blender lid before starting.
Blend until smooth
Blend for 1 minute, starting low and increasing speed. If fruit sticks, switch off and unplug before scraping down with a spatula, then blend again.
Adjust and serve
Check for remaining ice chunks. If too thick, add almond milk one tablespoon at a time. Divide between two glasses and serve immediately.

Notes
Texture and technique
With frozen fruit, leave out the ice and adjust the liquid after blending. Riper banana is sweeter; taste before adding any extra honey.

Storage
Serve freshly blended. Refrigerate leftovers promptly in a sealed container and use within 24 hours; stir before drinking. Do not leave out of refrigeration for more than 2 hours.

About this recipe
Ripe banana gives this smoothie body and sweetness, while Greek yogurt makes it creamy. Add the liquids to the blender first so the blades can move the fruit without getting stuck. Weigh the strawberries after removing their tops and the banana after peeling for repeatable quantities. Ice chills the drink without requiring frozen fruit. Serve immediately after blending, and loosen it with small amounts of almond milk only if needed, remembering that changes affect the nutrition estimate.
Frequently asked questions
Can I leave out the honey?
Yes. Taste the ripe fruit first; omitting honey lowers the estimated calories and carbohydrates.
Can I use frozen strawberries?
Yes. Leave out the 80 g of ice and add extra liquid only if needed for blending.
Why does it separate in storage?
Separation during resting is normal. Keep chilled, stir and drink within 24 hours.
