Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 Cup Wheat flour

  • 1 Teaspoonful Baking powder

  • 1/2 Cup butter

  • 1 Cup sugar

  • 5 und Eggs

  • 1 Teaspoonful Vanilla extract

  • 1 Can Evaporated Milk (354 ml)

  • 1 Can condensed milk (397 g)

  • 1 Cup Milk cream

  • For the glaze
  • 1 Cup Milk cream

  • 1 Tablespoon of Sugar

  • 1 Sachet dried fruits in case you wish to decorate

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
  • In a bowl, sift the flour and baking powder. Reservation.
  • In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Add the vanilla and mix well.
  • Add the flour mixture little by little, mixing well after each addition.
  • Pour mixture into pre-greased and floured pie mold.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a chopstick comes out clean when inserted into the center of the pie.
  • While the pie is baking, mix the evaporated milk, condensed milk and milk cream in a jug or bowl.
  • Once the pie is ready, take it out of the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • Pinch the pie with a fork or knife in several places to allow the milk mixture to penetrate it.
  • Slowly pour the milk mixture over the cake until it is completely soaked. Let the pie absorb the milk mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  • For the icing, beat the milk cream with the sugar until thick and firm.
  • Cover the pie with the whipped cream and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
