Grilled salmon with lemon and herb sauce

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets, approximately 150 grams each
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 lemon (juice and zest)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced

Instructions to prepare grilled salmon:

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, salt, black pepper, lemon juice and zest, parsley and dill.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet and cover them with the oil and herb mixture.
  4. Place the steaks on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Meanwhile, in a small skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, or until fragrant. Add the remaining lemon juice and mix well.
  6. Serve the salmon hot and covered with the lemon and herb sauce. You can garnish with more parsley and fresh dill if you wish.
