Ingredients
  

  • 4 of medium potatoes well washed, with skin
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cloves chopped garlic optional
  • 1 teaspoonful of salt
  • ½ teaspoonful of ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoonful of dried herbs oregano, rosemary, or thyme
  • Grated cheese sour cream or butter (for serving, optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 200 °C (390 °F).
  • Wash the potatoes thoroughly and dry them with a cloth.
  • Cut the potatoes into halves or wedges (you can also bake them whole, pricking them with a fork).
  • Place them in a bowl and mix them with the oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and herbs.
  • Place the potatoes on a baking tray, keeping them separated from each other.
  • Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, turning them halfway through, until golden and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
  • Serve hot with cheese, sour cream, or the side dish of your choice.
