- 600 g of ground beef
- 1 egg
- ½ cup with breadcrumbs
- 1 small chopped onion
- 2 cloves chopped garlic
- 3 tbsp of tomato sauce ketchup or tomato purée
- 1 tbsp of mustard optional
- 2 tbsp of chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp oil for sautéing
Sauté the onion and garlic in a skillet with a little oil until golden
In a bowl, mix the ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, pepper, tomato sauce, and sautéed onion
Place the mixture in a greased rectangular pan, shaping it like a loaf
Spread a little more tomato sauce on top
Bake at 180°C for 45 minutes or until fully cooked
Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving
